Hi. Last Wednesday i was no longer the President of Satoe Indonesia. The new President is Andiko Prima from batch 2011. I was so happy and also sad when i signed the document, which put Diko as the President. Huaaaaaa. Hiks hiks hiks. Hahahaha. It had been a very challenging experience for me and I’m so honored to have the experience in leading people with so much talent and extraordinary abilities.

In this post i want to congratulate Mevira Munindra as Satoe Indonesia’s best VP. When i was asked by Dhyla about who’s going to be the best VP, i immediately answered “Vira!” without any further thinking. She’s a super-girl. I’ve known her since my junior high time. We both went to the same school until now. So i’ve known her for almost 9 years. When in junior high, she was the head of the student body. In high school she was involved in many committees and if i’m not mistaken she’s also the vice head of MPK. She is a pure leader and there shouldn’t be more woman like her in this world because it will be very dangerous for us MAN! Hahaha. The most important thing that i personally think why she deserve the award is because she taught us how to be 100% in everything we do (Well, at least i learn it from her). Seriously, she’s a very busy girl. But, she always managed to get everything done (almost flawless!). When i look at the way she handle her team i always said to my self “Damn, how the hell does she do that?”. Everybody loves her!

Well Vira you have successfully earn everybody’s respect. You’re definitely in my upper list of “People who i have to beat someday” hahaha.

FYI, i think now she’s looking for a boyfriend to accompany her in graduation day. She is a nice girl and highly recommended for you boys! But beware, she’s very busy! Hahaha.

I also want to congratulate Program Development division. This is the most bad-ass division in Satoe Indonesia. This division is full with people with high energy and passion in community development. FYI, this division had spent 60% of our total yearly budget. This marked that they’re also good at spending money! Hahaha. Just kidding. This division was led by Muhammad Nizar. A pure lead by example type of guy! His action speaks louder than words. To be honest, he was the one who inspired me in this community development thingy. Here’s an example, when you ask him by phone to go to Ciwidey to handle something, you will hear these words: “Iya ini gua udah otw Ciwidey/Iya gw udah nginep dari semalem disini dan udah beres yang lo bilang ke gw/Ini gw lagi ketemu sama orangnya”. “Holy shit, what a commitment” i said to my self. This guy is very effective and efficient. Here’s an advice from me for those who want him to work to the max: “Put him on the field/jobsite, it will be a waste if you put a man with his type of energy and commitment behind a desk”. Period!

Julian Kamil, Emyr Giovanni, and Egar Perdana Maulana are also the core of this boat called Satoe Indonesia. Their critical thinking and problem solving skills was sensational. One of my weaknesses as a leader is sometimes i tend to get too emotional in solving problems. With their caps on this team, they truly taught me on how to solve problems with less emotion and high effective rate. Their divisions had accomplished many things and also made HUGE significant change regarding the work of their division. If i’m the captain of this ship, you guys are definitely the machine!!!

Next is Yasmin Rasyid. She’s ………….. There’s no word to describe her. She’s too …….. (still couldn’t find the right word). Let me tell you something about her. During my first year in college, there’s a girl who attracted so many boys. Her name is Yasmin. She’s like the queen of my batch. Her beauty embraces every man’s eyes. But when you talk to her, everything’s changed. !@#$%^&*()(*&^%$#@!. She’s so JANANG!!!!! Hahahaha. She’s so funny and cheerful and she is my favorite person during my time in SI (she’s very full of surprise!). Her most powerful thing is her creativity. You may be familiar with the words “Think out of the box”. Well you haven’t really think out of the box if you never compared your ideas with her. I’m very surprised with her amazing idea on how to make Satoe Indonesia famous. She is the initiator of “Satoe Indonesia the Movie”. I almost drop my jaw when i first saw the movie. It’s effing amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! She’s so smart and her taste is very good also! If you thing that she’s just another attractive girl with average brain, then you should go to see a doctor to fix your prejudice (can a doctor cure prejudice?). She’s damn smart. When you saw Satoe Indonesia’s tweets, you can see the high nationalism spirit of this organization. Guess who wrote it? It was her!!!!!!! Attractive and smart girl with high nationalism, Indonesia are craving for this type of woman (or creature hahahahaha). But still, couldn’t help with her JANANG behavior hahahaha.

Now we talk about money. It was Hanel Topada who handle this stuff. He was like the Sun Tzu of Satoe Indonesia. His eyes are sharp like eagles, and his words are as sharp as Guan Yu’s spear. He’s a genius warrior like Liu Bei. When you talk about finance, he can explain it to you until you know it more than enough. He’s the type of guy with good analytical thinking and also high commitment. Never cheat on him or you’ll lose your head by Lu Bu’s sword. He is amazing. Oh God i will miss our conversation about finance in my car when we are on our way to Ciwidey. He has taught me a lot of stuff about finance. Even when it is not related to Satoe Indonesia. If Satoe Indonesia wants to move to another village, we should consider to put Hanel in Ciwidey. Put him there for one year to run our business activity and he will double everything. Even triple it. Damn Genius. 

Last but not least is Satoe Indonesia’s secretaries. Yulia Wulandari and Zahra Aldila Niode. They are a perfect match. Really, you couldn’t ask for more from a secretary when you met them. They are probably the best secretary that Satoe Indonesia has ever had. They even can forge my signature!!! Hahaha. I was very impressed by the way they handle Satoe Indonesia’s document. Before them our documentation was pretty bad. They came up with brilliant idea to tidy things up in this organization. I couldn’t imagine my self working on Satoe Indonesia’s bi-annual and annual report during our hectic time in college. I consider it impossible for me. But i guess impossible is a word that Bundo and Dhyla never know since they always get the job done, even without being ask first! Crazy girls!! If you think that Bundo and Dhyla’s job is always related with writing and typing, you are definitely wrong and stupid. They are the type of girls who doesn’t mind crossing their line of duties. They were also involved in many Satoe Indonesia’s activity in Ciwidey. Gaaaaah, i still don’t know if i can put my self to work as hard as you girls! But thanks for inspiring me!

To conclude, i had an amazing team in Satoe Indonesia. We may not be prefect, but we always dream and strive for the best! I realized that there weren’t many things that i did as a leader which inspires you guys. I’ve made a lot of mistakes and some of them were very stupid (it makes me want to punish my self so bad when i remembered it). I would like to say sorry for everything.

Kalau seandainya gw bisa analogikan dengan upacara bendera, kalian semua selayaknya gw hormati seperti gw hormat pada bendera merah putih yang di taro tinggi diatas.

President of Satoe Indonesia 2009 - 2010

Sooo, I was up all day to plan about my future. I just realized that i want to achieve a lot of things before i exhale my last breath.

One of my friend in twitter wrote:

why settle for something mediocre when you can achieve excellence?

Damn right!

So here’s the plan:

Gain work experience for about 3 years

Continue my study for master degree (Hopefully Stanford/Yale/Wharton/NYU). In this case, i plan to get a scholarship to finance the super expensive cost of study. As a back-up plan, i already asked for my father’s permission to sell my car for the sake of education. I already mentioned before that i want to be fully independent after i finish my study in college. So, i put away the idea of getting my parents to finance my study abroad. Personally, i think that it’ll be a stupid investment since my parents are on their 60s. My family are far from rich so its definitely stupid to spend hundreds of million just for me. I want to see them happy with their life and money without the need to worry about their lousy son called Audi.

If things go smoothly, i’ll earn my master in the age of 25-26. This time i’ll have high bargaining position since i already got master degree and also significant work experience. Who doesn’t want me to work in their company? Hahaha.

I will work my ass up so by the age of 30 i should be in the middle of the corporate ladder. MINIMUM. Yeah i set this milestone. If i want to have the chance of being in top, i should definitely follow this milestone.

Hopefully, in my 30’s i’ll have the money to buy everything that i want and enjoy my success.

When will i get married?  I don’t know. Will i ever get married? I hope yes. Is it my priority? Definitely not!

Actually, i’m a lil bit confuse with the use of tumblr. Is it really a blog? I don’t understand why they have to post everything we write in the so called tumblr dashboard, and posting someone else’s post is just not me. Is it because they are trying to urge you to be seen easily? Well blah-blah. I don’t even have a strong base idea for this post.

Well, i already said that this will be my new blog site so i’m going to treat it like one. Here’s an update of my life. Since June the 1st i’ve been struggling to finish my campus final project and i’ve been actively (i mean like 110% active) seeking for jobs by attending a hell lot of employee selection stages. Maybe some of my friends had talk about how they feel about me trying so hard to be 110% in everything recently. I’m sorry, i really don’t have any intention to make you feel uncomfortable. But i need to get things done fast. I dont want to have an experience as an unemployed even for 1 day after graduation. I also need the money so bad since i’m going to be fully independent after i graduated from college. I have a few idealism that i followed during my life. Some of them are already broken. But this one, i’ll do my best to make it come true.

So about my final project. The topic is about stock index forecasting. Its a mix of behavioral finance, econometrics, and capital market. It’s still in 90% of completion. But i’m very satisfied with the result. The R-squared of my model is in the 65% level, which is great for forecasting the value of stock index. The other 35% is another independent variables that i did not put into my model. God knows how to get 100% R squared for my model. I’m no God hahaha.

I’m really proud to say that for the first time in my life i have bought something for my parents. It’s an i*ac. I bought it with my own money (from forex trading)….. and now i’m broke. Haha

Last but not least, i just found out something that really helps me a lot in doing everything recently. It’s a set of prayer that someone has told me about.
